I remember my mom telling me I was a pain in her neck when I was younger but I promise, I didn’t cause yours!
All joking aside, it really can be quite debilitating and absolutely no fun…
So many things we do during an average day can put strain on our neck and cause discomfort. One of the biggest culprits is how we have to crane our neck to look at our screens.
Whatever the reason for your pain, let’s get into how to get you OUT of pain.
Some of my favorite yoga poses for the neck are:
- Cow face pose
- Eagle arms
- Yoga mudra
- Head rolls
Plus, there are many “non-yoga” stretches for the neck that are really beneficial as well. Just because it’s not a traditional yoga pose doesn’t mean you can’t bring it into your practice!
