It seems hard to try to eat like a yogi but in actuality it can be really quite simple. This way of eating also has many benefits for your body and even can impact your mental health.

A yogic diet basically consists of foods that are as local, fresh, organic, and as close to the source as possible. Stay away from packaged foods and indulge in nutrient-dense meals to sustain your energy levels for your yoga practice and all the good you want to do in the world!

Today, we’ll focus on “Buddha Bowls”. These are usually filled with a grain, then steamed, sauted or roasted veggies and herbs, and finally topped with a healthy sauce and/or superfoods like hemp seeds, nuts, flax or whatever floats your energy-efficient boat!
